The walk took place on the morning of 11 February, a dull but dry day, with milder temperatures after a cold period. There were eight participants, and the following 20 species were recorded. This was only slightly higher than the low total of 18 recorded on last year’s walk: the species and number counts in Dean Wood were particularly disappointing.
