The Spring Bird Walk took place on the morning of 4 May, a pleasant bright day. Seven people participated, and the 26 species listed below were recorded – 6 more than were recorded on last year’s Spring Walk.

Mallard (A – a pair flew over, believed to be the ones that have been predating frogspawn and tadpoles from nearby garden ponds)

Buzzard (A – recently seen regularly at this top end, rather than the bottom, of Dean Wood)
