Nine people had a lovely walk to Hartslock nature reserve, near Goring, in August 2024. The weather was sunny and quite warm. As well as butterflys we were delighted to see a hummingbird hawk-moth en-route near Gatehampton farm, feeding on a buddleia. We also saw large and small white, comma, brimstone, gatekeeper, meadow brown, small heath, red admiral, common blue (TBC) and brown argus (TBC).
