Summer Bird Walk 2012 – Woodcote Conservation Group

The walk took place on the morning of 21 July. There was only one participant for the whole circuit (though two others did the latter part of the walk). The weather was warm and mainly sunny. The following 23 species were recorded.

Herring Gull (C – 4 circling very high over the fields)

Woodpigeon (A, B, C)

Tawny Owl (B – heard hooting in Dean Wood)

Magpie (B, C – included young in both locations)
