The 2025 Summer Walk took place on the morning of 5 June, with five participants. The weather was mild and largely overcast, following several days of hot sunshine. The following 18 species were recorded – one of the lowest totals for any of our seasonal walks. As on the 2023 and 2024 walks, no swallows or martins were noted, and – as on the 2024 walk – nor were any swifts. (Small groups of swifts were however seen over the area on adjacent days, as were very small numbers of house martins and swallows.)
