The 2024 Summer Walk took place on the morning of 16 June, with seven participants. The weather was cool and largely sunny, following a cool and often rainy spring. The following 21 species were recorded. As on last year’s walk, no swallows or martins were noted, though a group of about 8 swifts were seen high over the fields – even this was notable, as hardly any have been seen in the area this year.
