Winter Bird Walk 2017

The Walk took place on 28 January. The weather was mixture of sunshine and cloud, and comparatively mild after two cold and frosty weeks. Seven people took part. The number of species recorded - 26 - was notably higher than the previous year's 18, but, as with the 2015 and 2016 Winter Walks, the numbers of individual birds were strikingly limited, with no winter flocks being encountered.
